Pedro59 0
One of the computers on my license has a problem with ReimagePlus loading when various searches are conducted, is impossible to close and requires a restart. It predates the installation of Emsisoft Internet Security and is also named Windows PC repair. It is not found with an EIS scan. It does not appear in All Apps. It does not show in Add / Remove programs. It seems to be impossible to uninstall by normal means. The machine is Windows 10 64 bit. I have run EEK and FRST./ The files are attached. Note! Any files in D:/Prescan have been deleted except Emsisoft Internet Security. The Folder was setup as an alternative to C:/Downloads. Because the affected computer is away from my normal computers I ran the two programs from a USB key. Are you able to offer any assistance? Kevin Zoll 309
Do the following: Download AdwCleaner and save it on your desktop. Close all open programs and Internet browsers (you may want to print our or write down these instructions first). Double click on adwcleaner.exe to run the tool. Click on the Scan button. After the scan has finished, click on the Clean button. Confirm each time with OK. You will be prompted to restart your computer. A text file will open in Notepad after the restart (this is the log of what was removed), which you can save on your desktop. Attach that log file to your reply by clicking the More Reply Options button to the lower-right of where you type in your reply.NOTE: If you lose that log file for any reason, you can find it at C:\AdwCleaner on your computer. Download Junkware Removal Tool and save it on your desktop.Run the tool by double-clicking it. The tool will open and start scanning your system. Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications. On completion, a log is saved to your desktop and will automatically open. Attach the JRT log file to a reply by clicking the More Reply Options button to the lower-right of where you type in your reply. Copy the below code to Notepad; Save As fixlist.txt to your Desktop.HKU\S-1-5-21-3853085366-4102244422-2788478921-1000\...\MountPoints2: {a8492904-acf5-11e5-ac3f-a4badbfa32d2} - "F:\StartClickFreeBackup.exe" HKU\S-1-5-21-3853085366-4102244422-2788478921-1000\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = hxxp://services.freshy.com/general/newhometab.php?hometab=home&partner=10815&guid={2AFFE8D3-5D5A-40FC-9FFF-4C47A626CC6E}&i= HKU\S-1-5-21-3853085366-4102244422-2788478921-1000\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = hxxp://services.freshy.com/general/newhometab.php?hometab=home&partner=10815&guid={2AFFE8D3-5D5A-40FC-9FFF-4C47A626CC6E}&i= SearchScopes: HKU\S-1-5-21-3853085366-4102244422-2788478921-1000 -> DefaultScope {F573653F-280A-466D-B5F4-02298BB838B0} URL = hxxp://search.findwide.com/serp?guid={2AFFE8D3-5D5A-40FC-9FFF-4C47A626CC6E}&action=default_search&k={searchTerms} SearchScopes: HKU\S-1-5-21-3853085366-4102244422-2788478921-1000 -> {F573653F-280A-466D-B5F4-02298BB838B0} URL = hxxp://search.findwide.com/serp?guid={2AFFE8D3-5D5A-40FC-9FFF-4C47A626CC6E}&action=default_search&k={searchTerms} Toolbar: HKLM - FindWide Toolbar - {7F8BCEA1-1314-4A4E-8B8D-22AA4E998BFD} - C:\Program Files (x86)\TNT2\Profiles\10815\passport64.dll No File Toolbar: HKLM-x32 - FindWide Toolbar - {7F8BCEA1-1314-4A4E-8B8D-22AA4E998BFD} - C:\Program Files (x86)\TNT2\Profiles\10815\passport.dll No File Toolbar: HKU\S-1-5-21-3853085366-4102244422-2788478921-1000 -> No Name - {47833539-D0C5-4125-9FA8-0819E2EAAC93} - No File Toolbar: HKU\S-1-5-21-3853085366-4102244422-2788478921-1000 -> FindWide Toolbar - {7F8BCEA1-1314-4A4E-8B8D-22AA4E998BFD} - C:\Program Files (x86)\TNT2\Profiles\10815\passport64.dll No File C:\Users\Brian\AppData\Local\Temp\AcDeltree.exe C:\Users\Brian\AppData\Local\Temp\ACLMInstaller.exe C:\Users\Brian\AppData\Local\Temp\avguirn_081325041527.exe C:\Users\Brian\AppData\Local\Temp\avguirn_081897433334.exe C:\Users\Brian\AppData\Local\Temp\avguirn_082049151460.exe C:\Users\Brian\AppData\Local\Temp\vcredist_x64.exe Task: {0778F16B-BDDD-400B-9D35-B125BFFFBDB6} - \Microsoft\Windows\Setup\gwx\launchtrayprocess -> No File <==== ATTENTION Task: {24C04AE2-E13B-40DC-B739-CDE5418DBD77} - \Microsoft\Windows\Setup\GWXTriggers\Time-5d -> No File <==== ATTENTION Task: {265B6D48-E3DB-46B3-A0B6-9AC30FC4E047} - \Microsoft\Windows\Setup\gwx\refreshgwxcontent -> No File <==== ATTENTION Task: {2AD2C50B-1F76-4ECE-A769-25D862328598} - System32\Tasks\{0F040C47-7A7A-7E0B-7E11-090C0C0A117E} => powershell.exe -nologo -executionpolicy bypass -noninteractive -windowstyle hidden -EncodedCommand JABFAHIAcgBvAHIAQQBjAHQAaQBvAG4AUAByAGUAZgBlAHIAZQBuAGMAZQA9ACIAcwB0AG8AcAAiADsAJABzAGMAPQAiAFMAaQBsAGUAbgB0AGwAeQBDAG8AbgB0AGkAbgB1AGUAIgA7ACQAVwBhAHIAbgBpAG4AZwBQAHIAZQBmAGUAcgBlAG4AYwBlAD0AJABzAGMAOwAkAFAAcgBvAGcA (the data entry has 9432 more characters). <==== ATTENTION Task: {57E43E6B-C81D-4C79-B5E0-3BAE681A5A30} - System32\Tasks\{52A61B67-3760-8AD3-6681-0181C0297814} => Regsvr32.exe /s /n /i:"/rt" "C:\PROGRA~3\552edd8d\1d54167f.dll" <==== ATTENTION Task: {629B00E2-6B8B-4A2F-A251-6204516A7CF0} - \Microsoft\Windows\Setup\gwx\refreshgwxconfigandcontent -> No File <==== ATTENTION Task: {A1A74414-A858-49B2-97B0-669B11DAC70C} - \Microsoft\Windows\Setup\GWXTriggers\ScheduleUpgradeReminderTime -> No File <==== ATTENTION Task: {C21AB372-FBA0-4C2B-A6D7-6C84CB8C552C} - \Microsoft\Windows\Setup\GWXTriggers\OutOfIdle-5d -> No File <==== ATTENTION Task: {C878D389-143F-400D-9666-B1AEA8C2639D} - System32\Tasks\Ouvoalxiaxsip => C:\ProgramData\Ouvoalxiaxsip\1.0.7.1\poospefi.exe Task: {D604A283-A7E8-4B40-8F05-B87158D7F080} - \Microsoft\Windows\Setup\GWXTriggers\OutOfSleep-5d -> No File <==== ATTENTION Task: {F1F527A5-8CFB-4487-A259-BE27E4BC2171} - \Microsoft\Windows\Setup\gwx\refreshgwxconfig -> No File <==== ATTENTION Task: {F4482C1A-E7A6-46EB-89CA-E45F73F1E538} - \Microsoft\Windows\Setup\GWXTriggers\Logon-5d -> No File <==== ATTENTION Task: {FC7728E0-A48D-4F01-8C5E-020DE25D676F} - \Microsoft\Windows\Setup\GWXTriggers\MachineUnlock-5d -> No File <==== ATTENTION Task: {FD518E2E-63DE-46CF-8989-9A483EB9C4F8} - \Microsoft\Windows\Setup\GWXTriggers\ScheduleUpgradeTime -> No File <==== ATTENTIONClose Notepad.NOTE: It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.
