Jim Rockford 4
My neighbour, whom I have recommended EAM to, is having the same problem. All components are disabled, leaving the computer (Acer Laptop, Windows 8.1, 64 bit) unprotected. Whatever I try (trying to enable the components via right-click on the tray icon or via the GUI), I can't enable the protection. Even a complete un- and reinstall of EAM did not work. What can we do to get EAM working again? By the way, I have Windows 8.1, 64 bit, running too and do not have any problems with EAM.
GT500 853
Windows 7? Try the following, and let me know if that helps: click on the Start button. Go to All Programs. Go to Accessories. Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator. Type in sc delete epp and then press Enter on your keyboard. Restart your computer. These are the instructions for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, since they're a bit different: Right-click on the Start button. Select Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu. Type in sc delete epp and then press Enter on your keyboard. Restart your computer by right-clicking on the Start button, going to Shut down or sign out, and selecting Restart.
