Emsisoft internet security resource problem, contact support.

Recommended Posts

My neighbour, whom I have recommended EAM to, is having the same problem.

All components are disabled, leaving the computer (Acer Laptop, Windows 8.1, 64 bit) unprotected. Whatever I try (trying to enable the components via right-click on the tray icon or via the GUI), I can't enable the protection. Even a complete un- and reinstall of EAM did not work.

What can we do to get EAM working again?

By the way, I have Windows 8.1, 64 bit, running too and do not have any problems with EAM.

Windows 7? Try the following, and let me know if that helps:

  • click on the Start button.
  • Go to All Programs.
  • Go to Accessories.
  • Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
  • Type in sc delete epp and then press Enter on your keyboard.
  • Restart your computer.

These are the instructions for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, since they're a bit different:
  • Right-click on the Start button.
  • Select Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
  • Type in sc delete epp and then press Enter on your keyboard.
  • Restart your computer by right-clicking on the Start button, going to Shut down or sign out, and selecting Restart.

Hello!

I had this problem when installing EIS.dry.png
Run the command "sc delete epp" via cmd.
