InfoSec 0
I am going to have to change AV's because of performance issues on Windows 10 64-bit. I previously had ESET installed, then switched to Emsisoft Internet Security v11. Will I not run into compatibility problems in regards to installing another brand of software. I heard that Emsi's removal tool can do some harm, and you must run in safe mode after doing a registry backup. IS there a better way to do this?
GT500 860
Normally if you uninstall EIS and then restart your computer twice everything will be removed. As for Emsiclean (or leftover removal tool, or "uninstall tool" if you prefer), it doesn't need to be run under any special conditions, however we usually like to see the log it outputs when you open it and then close it (without removing anything) just to advise on what should be removed. InfoSec 0
Multiple attachments sent with screenshots and logs. I made sure to read the KB article on how to completely uninstall Emsisoft.
