slopes 3
Got this when updating AMD and wasn't sure what to do so I selected treat as new program and quarantined it on the alert Is this ok to take out of quarantine? Thanks so much
GT500 854
Based on the name I am assuming it is the gaming chat program called Raptr. This particular software has been known in the past for being bundled with junkware and such to make money, so it's probably not a good thing to install if you are given the option to avoid it. If your AMD software installed without trouble, then you can leave this Raptr thing in the Quarantine for now, and wait and see if everything works OK.

GT500 854
Would it be possible to upload the file in question to VirusTotal, and then post the link to the analysis here for me to take a look at?
slopes 3
No sorry I can't I ended up uninstalling the install manager and lost the AMD U.I. Then I did a restore and deleted the quarantined file. AMD is prompting for the update, not sure if I should try it again? Thanks GT
GT500 854
Have you tried downloading the update yourself from AMD's website?
slopes 3
Sorry for the delay in replying GT Haven't tried it at theAMD website. Thought I would just leave it, or do you recommend doing the update? Thanks
GT500 854
If it's a real update from AMD, then there shouldn't be anything wrong with installing it. Whether or not you need it depends on whether or not you are experiencing any bugs with their driver that are fixed in the new update, or whether or not you intend on using any software (such as games) that expect you to have the latest drivers installed.
