stapp
Using EAM 6728 on Win 7 In GUI go to Settings...Permissions. Is the default restricted user listed the one that is logged in ? (me, the only user on this machine ?) If it is, and I untick 'Enable/Disable surf protection'' why am I allowed to then disable surf protection? Frank H
Hi stapp, Permissions only are applied when you login on a windows user account. When you are logged-in as local admin, no permissions will be applied. You can however set a password in settings/ permissions. A password dialog will popup as soon as you click a setting with revoked permissions. The password protection will be applied for local admin accounts too. This has been designed to give system admins all permissions when they need to provide support on a windows user account, without having to login as local admin.
