silat
EIS is giving me a problem. Yes I backed up before I installed:) First it told me I needed a hotfix. So I installed it. During install it told me I had Oracle Virtual Box. I do not. Then I restarted and the service will not start even if I manually try to start it. Any ideas? silat
Yes it does. There is a folder above it "Vboxnetadp". Delete them?
stapp
It may pay to wait for dev support but you can also see here http://support.emsisoft.com/topic/14363-how-to-use-emsisoft-oa-emsisoft-is-v9-with-virtual-box/#entry109510
GT500
Since it's a driver, you should use the sc delete command in the Command Prompt to delete it. On Windows 7 you can click on the Start button, go to All Programs, then Accessories and then right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator. After that, enter sc delete VBoxNetFlt into the Command Prompt, then press Enter on your keyboard. If the driver is running you should be able to use the command sc stop VBoxNetFlt before deleting it to stop it, and then you won't need to restart your computer afterwards. silat
Thanks for the help. I followed the instructions (successfully) and the service still will not start. So I uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. The service will not start. No warning other than failure of service.

Frank H
There is a known issue where EIS doesn't start after a fresh install. We are currently working on a fix
