Recommended Posts

EIS 12.0.1.6936

Windows 10 Home

Version 1607

OS Build 14393.447

Shadow Defender 1.4.0.648

EIS update freezes in Shadow Defender Shadow Mode.  a2guard CPU will remain at approximately 15 %.

This issue was caught "on-the-fly" so I collected an a2guard memory dump using Windows task manager.

a2guard task manager memory dump attached.

a2guard.7z

hjlbx using EAM 6936on Win 7 while shadowed with  Shadow Defender1.4.0.648 I am able to do a manual update without any problems.

I will try on Win 10 later.

I do accept you are using EIS and I am not.

It might be "one-off."  It was an issue I noticed "on-the-fly."  So created a2guard.dmp.

Hi again Hjlbx,

I tried many times on Windows 10, but I was not able to reproduce the issue. Could you please tell me if you run an automatic or manual update? Do you have debug logs too to attach?

Could you also try again with the last stable?

Thanks,

Orlando

Despite my best efforts I cannot replicate.

Appears to be "one-off."

At the time the issue occurred, EIS was set to update automatically.
