Ken1943
Was looking for a setting to disable scan when a usb stick/ drive is inserted. If there is a setting, I could not find it. Nothing foreign gets plugged in here.
JeremyNicoll
I don't think there is any such scan. Files on a USB drive will be scanned when anything tries to use them. You can disable the notification that pops up to tell you that EIS has detected a mount of a removable drive, at Settings -> Notifications. They just display a notification letting you know that your computer is protected even when using removable media. The notification is optional, and can be turned off at any time.
