Ransomvictim201 0
Hi! We were unfortunately victim to ransomware. Trying to decrypt using available decryptors but no luck... any help would be much appreciated. I've added an attachment zipr with two files, one of an encrypted file, the other a non-encrypted version of the same file. The ransomware seems to have encrypted only the first half of the files and somehow is maintaining identical file size as their nonencrypted counterparts... Asking for help from anybody who can... let me know what else i can provide that will help! thanks. ransomed.zip
Sarah W 26
Hi Ransomwarevictim, Yes, they are hacking in via insecure RDP configuration. Make sure if you continue to use RDP that you set a strong password. We are looking into it and hopefully will have something for you in terms of decryption, though it may take a while since the member who does the decryption is ill. Regards, Sarah
