windows firewall on or off

Hi ive done a full win 10 install and I think previously when I had Emsisoft malware protection installed the firewall was off by default but now I keep getting a warning after turning off the windows firewall manually should I have it on or off please

If you're using Emsisoft Anti Malware then you should definitely turn your windows 10 firewall on, to maximise your protection.

Emsisoft Anti-Malware doesn't turn off the Windows Firewall.

Emsisoft Internet Security does turn off the Windows Firewall when you install it, since it includes its own firewall.

well i originally purchased internet security but emsisoft did an update and i think that since that time (not sure when) i only have malware protection ? i do not see the firewall option on my GUI

Please note that we merged Emsisoft Internet Security with Emsisoft Anti-Malware on October 2nd, which is why your Emsisoft Internet Security installation was converted to Emsisoft Anti-Malware. There is more information at the following links:
