Just made change from EIS to EAM

On Windows 10, typing firewall then go to Advanced Settings brings up the Windows firewall where you can look through the rules. Can I go back 20 years so I can understand

what I am seeing ? This is one reason I like a separate firewall, it takes most of the guess work out of the junk I see.

For instance, I have Cortana disabled with gpedit.msc ( run 10 pro) and  in Outbound Rules there it is. Haven't figured out if any information was sent to MS or if I can even disable that rule.

I can't say if another firewall would have been able to block it so I will never know.

Most of the outbound rules are MS related.

A couple years ago I did try one of the programs that was used to modify the firewall. YUK !

hello,

Just to inform you, if Microsoft really want to extract your datas, no firewall will stop it. There is so many ways for them to do it without your knowledge.
