cma6 3
My EIS icon still says "Emsisoft Internet Security" and Windows Firewall still seems to be OFF, despite an EIS update this morning. Wasn't there supposed to be some change in EIS and Windows Firewall today?
JeremyNicoll 78
I fyou open the Security Overview, do you still have EIS or has it become EAM? You can tell from the text at the top left corner, and by seeing if Firewall is one of the listed types of Protection.
Gideon Sword 3
Maybe is need wait for ~3-5 hours for push first stable update for version 2017.09 (for now is in BETA status) and next update will be migration.
JeremyNicoll 78
My copy of EAM (which was updated a few days ago as I was on the Beta feed for EIS) has updated every hour today. Do you get updates less often?
cma6 3
I get updates every 3 hours and had one 2 hours ago. I thought that the switch to EAM was supposed to occur on October 1.
cma6 3
Jeremy: The text reads "Internet Security" and "Firewall" is listed under Protection.
JeremyNicoll 78
Ok, so you definitely still have EIS. The switch was nevr going to be on 1st, it's always been planned for today. See:
GT500 853
License conversion should have been done an hour or two ago (from the time I am posting this), and EIS should convert to EAM as soon as it downloads the 2017.9 update. You can force that to happen sooner by manually updating if you would like to.
