Source: App Store Review Guidelines Because iOS is rather restricted to what Apps can do, a virus scanner cannot work on iOS: Quote 2.5.2 Apps should be self-contained in their bundles, and may not read or write data outside the designated container area, nor may they download, install, or execute code, including other apps. For the same reason it is really hard to write a virus for iOS... Which App did you download? How? (Via the App Store, or were you bypassing Apple’s protection?)
