Hi, 😊

Iam an E.A.M user and i  recently started using microsoft outlook to handle my emails, i don't know how to prevent the spams that are flooding to my inbox. E.A.M doesn't seem to have an anti-spam module. Kindly suggest a way to handle spam messages while using an email client like M.S Outlook and Thunderbird.

And is there an option to check which version of E.A.M is running on my pc ?

Please let me know.

Regards,

Govind.

Open EAM and click on the word EMSISOFT in the top left hand corner.

You probably need to use a mail provider who scan incoming mail as it arrives on their server, and either delete it (not always a good idea if their process aggressively deletes too much) or route it to a 'spam' folder within your mailbox.   Alternatively, some providers will scan emails as they arrive, and insert headers into each mail showing what their assessment of the spaminess of each mail was... but then they leave it to you to set up filters to delete or route mails where you want according to how spammy they seem to be.
