Wagner
Lost Password for security Options any help Guys ? will uninstalling the product FIX that ? many thanks
JeremyNicoll
I'd hope that an uninstall, then a new install would bring you back to the situation of having no password. It maybe depends on where the password is stored; if it's in a file somewhere that gets deleted when an uninstall is done, that should work. If it's in the registry, maybe not. I'd suggest you try it... but keep notes on what you do so if it doesn't work you can describe precisely what you did. If you've altered any of the general settings, you might want to make sure you know what options you chose, so you can set the same things up again later. GT500
The password for Emsisoft Anti-Malware will be reset by a reinstall. You may need to start Windows in Safe Mode to uninstall it if you don't know the password. Note that you will want "Safe Mode With Networking" if you will need to use your Internet connection. Also note that in Windows 10 you can hold down the Shift key on your keyboard while clicking the restart button to automatically reboot into the advanced startup/troubleshooting settings that have the Safe Mode options. It's best to start Windows in Safe Mode before trying the uninstall if you need to make backups of your exclusions and Behavior Blocker rules, that way you can copy the files from the Emsisoft Anti-Malware folder without interference. Here's a list of the files you may need to backup (note that Windows hides file extensions, the ".ini" on the end of the names, by default): a2rules.ini = Application Rules (Behavior Blocker rules) a2scheduler.ini = Scheduled Scan settings a2settings.ini = General Emsisoft Anti-Malware (I recommend not importing this file in your case) a2whitelist.ini = Exclusions

GT500
Driver Booster - We don't recommend any driver update tools. Always get the latest drivers either from the computer manufacturer, the hardware manufacturer, or the chipset manufacturer (NVIDIA, Intel, AMD, etc). Driver updating software often doesn't use official drivers, and may substitute drivers from other hardware manufacturers when the chipset matches, which could lead to strange problems. Zemana AntiLogger - Emsisoft Anti-Malware's Behavior Blocker is fully capable of detecting keyloggers, as well as any other modern threat, so supplementing with a dedicated Anti-Keylogger software isn't necessary. UnHackMe - I'm not familiar with this tool, however from the website it looks like it is marketed similarly to how Malwarebytes Anti-Malware was marketed before version 3. Based on what it says, it is more than likely not necessary, however if it can be installed without real-time protection then it is more than likely safe to use. SecuPerts Anti-Spy - Most of what this does is done for free by Spybot Anti-Beacon and ShutUp10. Spybot Anti-Beacon has an option to run on startup and re-apply its changes in case they were reverted by a Windows Update. ShutUp10 can make more changes (and explains what the features it is turning off are and whether turning them off is recommended), however it needs to be manually re-run after installing Windows Updates to make sure that its changes were not reverted.

The best place for tech help like that is usually one of the Stack Exchange sites:https://stackexchange.com/sites#technology For cmd/batch help I would believe I usually go to https://superuser.com/ since there's a ton of good info there and some very knowledgeable people, however you can also find cmd/batch related stuff scattered in some of the other Stack Exchange sites (such as Stack Overflow and Server Fault). There's also a nice list of Windows command-line tools and batch commands at the following link:https://ss64.com/nt/ Another site with good info is the following (look in the navigation on the left, under "Scripting Languages", for more):http://www.robvanderwoude.com/battech.php

GT500
I recommend attaching your logs to your posts (just drag the file into your post of click the "choose files" link below where you type in your post), that way only Emsisoft staff can see your logs. If you use Pastebin, then anyone can click the link and see your logs. Way there anything specific in the log that you wanted me to look at? Everything looks fairly normal to me.
