Look up reputation of programs

Recommended Posts

Looking up reputation of programs enhanced both detection capabilities and reduces false positives, so we highly recommend it.

This option does cause Emsisoft Anti-Malware (EAM) to send data about running programs that are performing potentially malicious behavior back to our servers. This data can include the name of the file, SHA-1 and possibly MD5 hashes of the file, and possibly also the full path to the file. If you are running EAM on a system that runs confidential software, then you way want to turn this option off, however for most people this option is better left on.

Thanks makes perfect sense!
