Recommended Posts

Hello all,

This morning I got my PC infected with ransomware and all files where encrypted with .no_more_ransom extension! Is there any way to decrypt them?

Regards,

I have this exact same file extension no_more_ransom. I have upload to id ransomeware but it was unable to identify. Please suggest what I can do. Thank you.

How Recovery Files.txt

Based on the ransom note, it may be a variant of Rapid:

I can't be entirely certain without a copy of an encrypted file.

One of our servers was infected with not all but substantial numbers of files encrypted before we caught it - we have backups but are missing some key files.  I've seen conflicting reports as to whether this is Rapid or Shade.  ID Ransomware reports that it might be either.  I suspect its Rapid v3 though.

Should I just upload a sample here?

Has there been any progress in developing a decryption too?  What are our options?

I recommend uploading a copy of the ransom note along with an encrypted file to ID Ransomware so that we can see if it still flags it as a variant of Rapid:

You can paste a link to the results into a reply if you would like for me to review them.
