fax
Sorry in advance if this was already asked. I could not find an obvious message about it. But does the Chrome Emsisoft Browser Extension works in the Chromium Edge? I have installed it, seems to be "ON" but the web protection section GUI says "not supported". If not supported, any plan to support it? Thank you,

ShadowPuterDude
Chrome extensions will work with the new Edge browser, you just have to enable Chrome extension support in Edge Extensions.

Paul.R
Captain question here: If it's working why in web protection panel appears this message: Browser security: default browser not supported - more info Thanks! Have a nice day!

Note that Emsisoft Anti-Malware doesn't need to recognize the Emsisoft Browser Security extension for it to be fully functional, as they operate independently.

If we do update it, then it will probably be once Microsoft rolls out the new Chromium Edge to most Windows 10 PC's via Windows Update, and once our extension is on the Chromium Edge extensions site. GT500
The Emsisoft Browser Security extension is now available on the Microsoft Addons store for Chromium Edge:https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/jlpdpddffjddlfdbllimedpemaodbjgn Hopefully we'll be able to update EAM soon to check whether or not it's installed when you launch Chromium Edge.
GT500
We've released a new beta that should include detection for the Emsisoft Browser Security extension in Chromium Edge, and should notify you if it isn't installed:https://blog.emsisoft.com/en/36318/emsisoft-anti-malware-2020-6-beta/
