Palad Design 0
Hi. I recently contacted fast data recovery company. They said they could recover all my files for 850 dollars us... much more than what tha hackers were asking for. Are they reliable? Also i have a another question, can i save my files on external harddrive and then reformat my pc. This way when in the future the decryptor for online comes in i can recover in the future. Is this advisable?

They secretly contact the criminals, pay the ransom, and then overcharge you for the service.https://www.itwire.com/security/aust-firm-promises-data-decryption-after-dharma-ransomware-attack.htmlhttps://www.itwire.com/security/aust-firm-offering-ransomware-recovery-at-second-domain-as-well.html If you want a service that will act as an intermediary to help you pay the ransom while being honest about what they're doing, then I recommend Coveware. Keep in mind that they usually do this for businesses who have encrypted data from multiple computers/servers, and they may not provide service outside of North America.https://www.coveware.com/
