JeremyNicoll
Last night my Win 8.1 64 bit system had a BSOD stop code 0x000000d1 ie "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" apparently in tcpip.sys At the time I wasn't consciously doing anything internet-ish though I did have browser tabs open. There's no obvious reason to blame EAM, except that I know there's maybe an ongoing problem in this area. I have a full 8 GB dump from this. Do you want it? Frank H
The minidump version of the crash would be helpful. Should be in the minidump folder.
JeremyNicoll
Well, naturally, it's not there... because I moved it. I'll PM its location to you.
Frank H
The issue occurs outside of our code and that there is most likely nothing we can do to fix it.
JeremyNicoll
OK. I know the stop code is a bad memory access attempted. Is there any way to tell if (even if the issue was outwith your code) if the area of memory is/was related to EAM?
Frank H
We have not further analysed that.
JeremyNicoll
Are you certain you don't want the full dump? Or puting it another way, are you certain you know the cause of the BSODs that other people have been discussing AND certain that this one is not a symptom of the same cause?
