Zeppelin ransomware

Recommended Posts

today my files have been encrypted by zeppelin ransomware as I found out on this site was the name of the ransomware.  It has created an noteblock files which said:

All your files, documents, photos, databases and other important files are encrypted.

You are not able to decrypt it by yourself! The only method of recovering files is to purchase an unique private key.
Only we can give you this key and only we can recover your files.

To be sure we have the decryptor and it works you can send an email: [email protected] and decrypt one file for free.
But this file should be of not valuable!

Do you really want to restore your files?
Write to email: [email protected]

Your personal ID: AFA-AA6-2F4

 * Do not rename encrypted files.
 * Do not try to decrypt your data using third party software, it may cause permanent data loss.
 * Decryption of your files with the help of third parties may cause increased price (they add their fee to our) or you can become a victim of a scam.

Now I´ve scanned my PC several times with Emsisoft emergency kit and hopefuly destroyed all of dangerous files but my encrypted files stayed encrypted. So if anyone has got a solution to this problem or a decryptor for Zeppelin ransomware, it would be great if you could hit me up.

Thanks a lot for any suggestions.

Hello @Ondra

What is the name of the ransom note you received?

There is no free public decryptor for this.

Throughout the year, almost nothing has changed, except for notes and emails of extortionists.

My article "Zeppelin Ransomware" is the first source of information on this.
