How would I know if Online Armour was compromised by malware? I know most malware is stealth is there a log file I could use? I think Online Armour does not work properly it keeps making me authorize Traffic Compressor's program guard!

I would also like to know where I can access the debug and other log files of Online Armour!

Ordinary logs are in C\Program Files\Online Armor\Logs.

Debug logs are only available after you have enabled debug logging int OA gui and doubt if you would be able to make use of them as they are usually requested and read by the developers.

I would strongly suggest that you do the Emsisoft Emergency Kit log requested by ShadowputerDude in your thread in the Malware section. This would then confirm whether malware was present or not.

If no malware, then we can continue here.

Hi Jack421,

Could you please post a screenshot of OA alert(s) you're receiving each time?

Additionally, could you please collect some debug logs and send them to oasupport (at) emsisoft <dot> com ?

Steps to get & send the right debug logs:

  1. Open OA Configuration window (double-click the shield icon in the systray).
  2. Go to "Options->General" and tick the "Enable debug mode" checkbox.
  3. Go to "Debug page" and ensure that all the checkboxes are ticked there.
  4. Reboot
  5. Reproduce the problem
  6. Zip the contents of "Logs" folder located at your Online Armor installation directory.
  7. Send zipped logs to the address I mentioned above.

    • Please include the following information in your email:
    • Link to this thread
    • OS name and version you're using (including SP version).
    • OA edition and version.
    • List of other security software installed (including editions and versions for each of the installed products)
    • Screenshots of alerts if you'd manage to get some.

Thank you in advance,

Best regards,

Andrey.
