Not possible to deactivate all secure components over Task Icon since 1-2 Month

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Since the last 1-2 month it is not possible to deactivate all components over the Task Icon right click "Schutz-Status" - "Alle Komponenten deaktivieren".

I need it sometimes to deactivate all components all for Datev updates. Only over Cloud it works.

Do you have an administrator password configured in the settings? Are you logged in to Windows as a user with limited rights? Which edition of Emsisoft Anti-Malware are you using? Home, Business Security, or Enterprise Security?

OK, I'll ask QA to confirm whether there are any known instances where this might happen.

Do you have any special permissions configured in Emsisoft Business Security or in your Emsisoft Cloud Console workspace for the domain user account that's logged in to the workstation?

We've released 2020.10, and we're wondering if that helps with this issue. Could you let us know if you're still unable to disable all guards from the System Tray icon?
