Mark Armstrong Posted January 4 Report Share Posted January 4 Hi, I have a number of workstation that after an update this morning the Emsisoft icon near the clock disappears. I noticed that the Real time Protection is not running as well and i cannot open the product now. Reinstalling does not fix this. I have also run Emsiclean and reinstalled as well. Running Windows 10 pro - 64 bit - Latest build of windows. All was working up until an update this morning. I get an error while using the websetup. error loading installation database 1/1638 when using the 64 bit msi installer I get a screen wich says: 1: 0 2: And then nothing happens... But i can find it in the installed program list of Windows but can not start. In taskmanager I se 2 instances of emisoft running.. J Bakker Posted January 18 Report Share Posted January 18 Thanks, emsi support helped me. They provided 2 commandline commands that solved it directly. On one other machine it did not work, wich they fixed via remote support... unortunately i did not doccument these and now i am searching again :) giess I have ti bother them again :) thx for your reply Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
