On my configuration OA&Admuncher work fine, so you can shutdown OA and check once again.

Check your Admuncher's settings (filters).

Do you know if Ad Muncher was working normally before you excluded it in OA?

It was working before i installed Online Armor .. I asked my friends they said open Online Armor and change to the Advanced Mode. Go to section Options tab Exclusions and add the full Ad Muncher program folder to the exclusions list and it will work !

but it doesn't :(

Do you have "Block all the traffic during system boot" ticked under Options -> Firewall? If so, please untick it then reboot and try again.

Done .. Thanks

I found solution for this problem just add in Emsisoft Antimalware 5 to Guard tab Application Rules - Add new Rule Find ADMUNCH.EXE and set this Allways allow this application and restart system and now will work 100% I guarantee :)

Problem is not in firewall ;)

In my opinion problem comes with Anti Malware.

I use OA 5 with FProt right now, before this I used Eset and Avira.

Ad Muncher worked fine in all cases. Only after installation of Anti Malware it stops blocking ads.

Here is my story with support:

[After installing Anti Malware i have some troubles with adwerts. AdMuncher is not blocking Flash Player adwerts anymore.

They were blocked when i was using Eset Nod or Avira.

Can you fix it or help me make some better settings in current soft?

Hi,

We'll look into the issue, thanks for reporting it to us!]

Do you think they really want to solve the problem?

There were problems with OA and Ad Muncher in the past - take a look at OA users forum.

Hope that support will not ignore us.

Do those having this issue have OA and EAM excluded from each other? In OA this can be done by adding EAM to Options -> Exclusions. cltaltdelete has posted a screenshot here http://support.emsisoft.com/topic/4043-%d0%be%d0%b0-and-emsisoft-anti-malware-mutual-control/page__view__findpost__p__24139 of how to achieve this in EAM also.

Could you disable safe browsing and check again in Emsisoft Anti-Malware? Do you have adblocking enabled in Anti-Malware?

By the way, I have Online Armor Premium, Returnil System Safe Pro and Admuncher (4.9.1) and everything works well.

I guess problem is caused by mix of EAM, OA and Admuncher installed together.

The problem is actually caused by the order in which the programs are started. Online Armor does protect the hooks it set from being tampered with. Since there are overlaps between the APIs Online Armor hooks and the APIs AdMuncher hooks it comes down to which application is allowed to install its hooks first. If AdMuncher hooks first everything is fine. If Online Armor hooks first though it will block AdMuncher from installing its own hooks thereby preventing it from working correctly.

A fix for this problem is already in the works.

We issued an Emsisoft Anti-Malware update today that could fix this issue as well. I would appreciate it if you could run an update and see if the problem still occurs.

Sorry, that is not what I asked for. Please enable debug mode, reboot, reproduce the problem, ZIP the content of the "Logs" sub-directory of your Online Armor directory and attach it to your posting as it is outlined in the post I linked above. Once you uploaded the logs make sure you disable debug mode again.

Your AdMuncher version is outdated. Version 4.91 fixes quite a few compatibility issues between AdMuncher and our products. If that doesn't fix the problem please create new logs where you try to run Internet Explorer and Firefox. In the logs you submitted Internet Explorer was never executed.

i updated Ad Muncher to the last version : 4.91 Build 32562/3483

it doesn't fix the problem .. please, can you explain more about this point :

create new logs where you try to run Internet Explorer and Firefox. In the logs you submitted Internet Explorer was never executed.

While recording the debug logs you only executed Firefox. I haven't found you trying to run Internet Explorer. Since the problem exists in both you should run both. The best approach would be to do this:

  1. Close and shutdown Online Armor (right click menu of the OA tray icon).
  2. Go to the Online Armor directory and delete the old Logs sub-directory.
  3. Start Online Armor again using the short cut in your Start menu.
  4. Enable Debug Mode as you did before and reboot.
  5. After reboot make sure AdMuncher is running.
  6. Start Firefox and navigate to a website that has advertisement on it to make sure that the AdMuncher filtering isn't working.
  7. Start Internet Explorer and navigate to a website that has advertisement on it to make sure that the AdMuncher filtering isn't working.
  8. Disable Debug Mode again and than submit the archive containing the logs as you did previously.

Thanks.
