A small bug

Recommended Posts

First of all congrats to the new group on bringing in the new upgraded OA. I have not checked the features in detail , but ran a small firewall test. The file is attached.

1. For 2 tests/prompts on subsequent reruns everytime OA wants a permission even though all the alerts are blocked for permanently (not for current session). In the previous version the error was not there.I think OA needs to look into this as a possible dysfunction for similiar conditions.

Hi trujwin,

Thanks for testing and reporting and for your kind words:)

Could you please tell me your OS details? (including sp version if any)

Could you please also tell me if you had any other security software installed at the time of testing besides OA ?

Thank you in advance,

Best regards,

Andrey.

Yeah sure. OS Win 7 64 home edition (OEM). Antivirus -AVAST Free .

As I had written earlier , the previous OA version 31? I suppose, did not ask for permissions for any module , the second time.

So I wonder what pulled it off. Suddenly after a long gap I ran the tests and OA seems to remember all the prompts and scored a 340/340.

I do not remember any of a specific environment change in my notebook.

Is this out of updation of OA? Recently I had this Microsoft update too. So who is to be credited?? :P;)
