scotty
Hi, my PC seems to have been infected by some rather intelligent malware and I was hoping you could help. I can download anti-virus and anti-malware programs but not any definitions or updates for any of these. It's been frustrating because all the other forum entries I've found have been advising the use of programs to clean systems but that doesn't seem to work on mine. I stumbled on your old forum and found a topic that appears to be the same as mine. It was this one http://forum.emsisoft.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=3404 I've followed the instructions that were given to the previous person so have the hijackthis, ISeeYouXP and A2 Free logs. It might be worth mentioning that, again, whatever has compromised my system did not allow A2 Free to search for updates. It'll be something that I've missed but I can't find any saved logs from A2. After the scan it reported 124 items but the reports folder for A2 is empty. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
