Koosharem 1
I have recently installed OA5.1 and got two popups right after boot up concerning the program hpdbfawep.exe. This program was flagged as "unrecognized" during the setup Safety Check ("Auto-runs that need attention"). I have an HP LaserJet printer, and seeing the "hp" in the program name, I was "persuaded" to label this "Allow" during setup. The popups said this program "wants to get a list of files" and "wants to create an .exe program". These phrases were worrisome so, I blocked both popups. How can I determine if this program is legitimate regarding the proper operation of my printer? In case it matters, the following locations were cited in the popups: c:\Programs\HP\Dfawep\Products c:\Programs\HP\Dfawep\bin\hpbdfawep.exe c:\Windows\Tasks\HP wep.job I'd greatly appreciate any ideas/suggestions.
