TriK 0
The Anti-Keylogger in Online Armor Premium showed explorer.exe in the Anti-Keylogger section after I deleted all my trusted programs etc to start fresh and remove unneeded trusted files after installing 3rd party apps. Is it safe? Or am I infected down to the explorer.exe.
catprincess 19
Online Armor detects keylogger behavior, so it's not uncommon for you to get popups about logging for legitimate software that does not actually record keystrokes. Many programs use the same techniques for legitimate reasons, such as hot keys. Especially with core Windows files like explorer, if these files aren't left as trusted you would likely see many popups for dozens of different actions that they need to perform. I'm not sure if you have other reasons for suspecting a malware problem, but there is a dedicated malware removal section here http://support.emsisoft.com/forum/6-help-my-pc-is-infected/ where Emsisoft's malware removal specialists can take a look and assist you with getting your system clean again if necessary.
