Wayan 0
Hello Folks, As I installed Online Armor i was prompted to restart my System Win 7 x64) , this is impossible, because i get a BSOD on every restart stating a driver failure. The stated file is a2util64.sys As i uninstalled online armor, my systems starts normally (At first I installed Internet Security package - now I only installed Antimalware) Is there any help on this? Because i want to use my license... P.S. I am running another Windows 7 x64 machine which is operating perfectly Greetings Wayan
Christian Peters 99
Dear Wayan, do you use VirtualBox or similiar vitualization software on your Windows 7 x64? Can you please send me the minidump files for the BSOD to [email protected] or attach the minidump file to the topic? You will find the minidump files in the folder "C:\Windows\Minidump\" or "C:\Windows\System32\Minidump\".

Christian Peters 99
Dear Wayan, VirtualBox is the problem. Online Armor is incompatible with Virtual Box when installed on the host systemInstalling Online Armor on a system that has Virtual Box installed will cause a blue screen. Reason: The blue screen is caused by improper parameter validation inside the Virtual Box network driver when releasing NDIS related memory. Solution/Workaround: Because the problem isn't caused by Online Armor directly, there is no way for us to fix it. The only way to use Online Armor at this point is to uninstall Virtual Box and switch to another VM solution. See topic: http://support.emsisoft.com/topic/5208-known-online-armor-issues/ If you have any more questions or problems, just let me know.
Christian Peters 99
Dear Wayan, the crash is caused by the Virtual Box network layer (VBoxNetFlt). You can try to reinstall Virtual Box without network bridge, use NAT instead. Then try again to install and use Online Armor. Reference for this workaround is the topic on https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=48044 .
