xman68
Hi Protect Itself! I have faced to this issue for many times that the EAM can't protect itself. When the EAM installs on systems that so infected with malware, the files of the EAM are corrupted and the EAM doesn't work anyway. during these following stages, what guard protect from the EAM's files? Suggestion: the EAM needs a powerful guard for protection at the first of the installation and configuration.
GT500
Emsisoft Anti-Malware already has a self-protection mechanism. Regardless of how power that self-protection is, certain infections (such as rootkits) abuse the system in ways that you cannot fully protect against. Are you having issues with the Emsisoft Emergency Kit on these same computers? The Emergency Kit is intended to be used in a situation where the computer is already infected, whereas Emsisoft Anti-Malware is intended as a full time anti-virus. xman68
Hi Thank you so much Are you having issues with the Emsisoft Emergency Kit on these same computers? No so I have to use Emsisoft Emergency Kit for cleaning and removing ( virus ) of HDD and then install the EAM. Is it right?
GT500
so I have to use Emsisoft Emergency Kit for cleaning and removing ( virus ) of HDD and then install the EAM. Is it right? Yes. The Emergency Kit should be able to run when you are unable to finish the install of EAM, and it should be able to clean most infections (with the exception of rootkits, as these are considered too dangerous for an anti-virus software to attempt to remove).
